Design Objective: Create a unique design for
the annual SASQUATCH! music festival. Marketing components needed are a Sasquatch character and other branding elements based upon the main character design. Other scenic elements should be
added to further enhance the design.
Design Statement: A vibrant splash of color and playful hook of the A immediately directs your attention to the type treatment of the Sasquatch! Music Festival. The characters, environmental elements, and rhythmic movement draws your attention around the poster. The Sasquatch character can be seen swimming for the tickets in the chest and each character has facial expressions based off the Sasquatch’s graphically reduced features and flat design. The bright color palette offers a sense of balance and contrast to the more muted type treatment in the bottom area of the poster which features the festival lineup.
